Episode 17: “Mercy Mercy Baby” by The Juanitos

Juanitos is a personal favorite of mine. Always tasteful. Always upbeat. They're an experienced act that's tough to follow.

Every album by the French group The Juanitos is a party and has to live up to the band's party standards. This track, Mercy Mercy Baby is from Welcome in the House of F.U.N album which delivers a sonic soul party, a vacation in the tropics, and time travel back to the swingingest '60s hot spots! There are even tips of the hat to the Chambers Brothers and Jimi Hendrix. Enjoy!

Episode 13: “Backbone” by Carsie Blanton

Sometimes you just need something pretty in your life, don't you agree? Sit down for some Low Elo podcast or maybe a game of League of Legends and give a listen to our latest feature artist, Carsie Blanton.

Following her heart has worked out pretty well for Carsie, earning her widespread critical acclaim and a coast-to-coast fan following for her clever wordplay and indelible melodies. Her remarkable new album, Idiot Heart, represents the Philadelphia-based singer/songwriter’s finest work thus far, a panoramic collection of exuberant, expansive folk-pop, crafted with uncommon spirit and ingenuity.

Episode 7: “No correspondido” by Las Ruinas

What is it about Spain, League of Legends and Low Elo that makes for such a wonderful combination? Here's our second act out of Spain, Las Ruinas.

Las Ruinas is a heavy pop and low fi thunderstorm from Barcelona Spain. Created by Eduardo Chirinos (originally from Lima, Peru) when he moved to Barcelona eight years ago, Las Ruinas began as a solo project and then after a couple of shows and a lot of great local reviews two more members joined the band and together they start recording their self-produced first record “Butano”.
