I love the fact that you guys brought up Mr. Darkness; however, I disagree with some of the things you brought up.
Firstly, it was bigfatlp that "pioneered" pro Nocturne this season, specifically as a TSM counter: he's done it all season compared to Meteos using him just during the regionals.
Secondly, Noc's passive lets him lifesteal/dorans just fine in the jungle and defends against counter-ganks rather well with it. It's significant burst and a chunk of health against someone trying to mess with him. I usually start at red buff in case someone wants to try to counter jungle me. Red buff and Duskbringer brings Noc an inescapable chase that has netted me tons of first bloods in my own jungle, the enemy blue, and from level 3 half-health ganks from behind.
Thirdly, I've found Noc does amazing with phage into triforce to carry early then a Randuins (then MR) to dive their back line. I don't find Noc to be a good hard initiator because of his lack of natural tankiness (he is an assassin after all) but Paranoia makes a wonderful counter-engage. Often times a team's front line will leave their carries undefended while trying to force a fight and it makes them easy pickings.
I picked Noc up a couple weeks or so again and after a couple days of carrying hard and losing late game I've completely stopped losing with him once I stopped forcing situations. Go with the flow, flank, and wait for fights to start before using Paranoia or sweeping in from behind for an obvious-but-hard-to-run-from gank. I use basic ADC runes (AD reds, LS quints, armor yellows, mr/level blues) and a 21/9 set up on him (crit replaced with Butcher and Destrucion) and have been doing extraordinarily well.
Glad you guys realized draven was nerfed a back when his new passive was released, i was cringing back in that episode when ren and christian was saying now much more op draven was gonna be with that nerf
Keep up the good work!
