Low Elo Podcast EP. 107 - The Wriggles
With Jeff busy at PAX, Compy, Erik and Gankenstein toss spit wads and paper planes at the chalkboard. They also talk about All Stars, chime in with their thoughts on the controversial Feral Flare, lament the disappearence of tanks, and give advice to new players how to find your next favorite champion.
This week's game is continued from last weeks. Send us what kind of local business your favorite champion would open, what their crappy daytime TV commercial would be like and include thier cheesy slogan! Send us your game entries and other email at team@lowelo.com.
The hosts can be reached @LowEloDave, @belsaas, @RustyBlitzCrank.
This episode's soundtrack is Le Petit Jardin by Lee Maddeford.

Hey, Scarra is playing for Dignitas. Only occurred to me because they were beat by Curse today.
Also, Rekkles from Fnatic is pronounced WRECKLESS.
Love the podcast keep up the good work.
Hey guys, long time listener, I have both an around the world update and a lowelo hipster testimonial. I'm from Munich Germany, and listening to this while on my way to the "Biergarten" to grab some "Weisswurst" and delicious German beer.
as for the hipsterism, back when the 1v1 mode was on, I tried to play support champs there to see if they were good 1v1. Against expectations I went on an 8 game winning spree with soraka. I told a friend that she was really good in almost all 1v1 scenarios and a great anti-assassin solo laner. So we tried it out together, soraka mid/top and it worked great. About 2 months ago we took it to ranked. At first people flamed in champselect but then we explained them we knew what we were doing and what our expectations were, namely that I would ward deep and push constantly to apply pressure so that their jungler is bound to camp me. We proceeded to win the next 15 out of 20 games with it, I got from s4 to g5 in a week and earned praise by teammates and rage by the Renektons and Shyvanas I bullied in lane.
but then I saw hai doing it in lcs and now everyone does it and I can't do it anymore without looking like a scumbag :/ I'm a sad low elo hipster.
anyway, great show and keep it classy.
I agree that jungle tanks have fallen off a bit, but I think Cho'gath is still pretty viable.
I like to play something I call "Face Puncher Cho" where I build tanky + attack speed. Cho has the highest base AD (@ lvl 18) in the game, combined with the on hit magic dmg of his E spikes and then a Nashors or Feral Flare, he can get right in the middle of a fight to tank but still do decent auto attack melee damage. Plus this auto attack dmg is great for clearing the jungle without wasting mana. Jungle Cho has a nice balance of clear time, ganks, and sustain, while still being tanky.
So you play Jax and Warwick, but you complain about Yasuo?
Well I was never, ever frustrated playing against Yasuo, but playing against Warwick is ALWAYS frustrating, no matter whether the enemy Warwick is any good. Yasuo has a really high skill cap and is fun to play, whereas Warwick is plain and boring.
I'd rather play against ten Yasuos than one Warwick.
Looking forward to the Warwick remake when his ult becomes a knockup and Yasuo will ult off it. : 3
